Midlothian's Future Community Engagement Meetings
BOOK ONTO ONE OF FIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETINGS
The Councillors want to hear your views on proposals to help address Midlothian Council’s budget shortfall in 2018/19 of £13.5 million, potentially rising to £45 million by 2021/22.
Five engagement meetings are being hosted by Midlothian Council Leader Cllr Derek Milligan using the link below.
They are being held in Midlothian Council’s chambers, Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith, EH22 1DN, between 7pm and 8pm.
The meetings are on:
- Monday 6 November
- Tuesday 7 November
- Wednesday 8 November
- Monday 13 November
- Tuesday 14 November

Paper copies of the savings summary will also be available in local libraries by Friday 20 October.
After a short presentation by Cllr Milligan, you can ask questions and give feedback. Your views will help shape final decisions about addressing the budget challenges before the council sets a balanced budget for 2018/19 early in the New Year.
We will be noting views and comments during the meeting for a final report to council. However, after the meeting, please fill in the short survey.
